Photoshop shortcuts you can use in your browser
PhotopixPro works with Photoshop keyboard shortcuts: out of the box, Ctrl+J, Ctrl+M and the single-letter tool keys do what they do in Photoshop, and the ten menus have the same names and order. Below are the editor's default shortcuts, grouped by menu. A few are also used by your browser or your operating system and may not reach the editor.
To keep the list at hand, print this page or save it as a PDF from your browser's print dialog.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free photo editor with the same menus and shortcuts as Photoshop?
Yes. PhotopixPro is a free online photo editor whose ten menus have the same names and order as in Photoshop, and it uses the default Photoshop keyboard shortcuts. You can change any of them in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts… It runs in a desktop browser, with no account and no ads, though your browser may keep Ctrl+N, Ctrl+T and Ctrl+W.
Why doesn't Ctrl+T work in the editor?
Your browser may keep Ctrl+T for itself, because it opens a new tab, and the same goes for Ctrl+N and Ctrl+W. The command is still there: choose Edit > Free Transform from the menu. If you use it often, give it another key in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts… so it doesn't clash with your browser.
Do these shortcuts work on a Mac?
They should, with Mac keys: press Cmd where this page says Ctrl, and Option where it says Alt; Shift and the single-letter tool keys, such as V, B and T, stay the same. We haven't tested them on a Mac yet, and some, such as Cmd+H and Cmd+M, are also macOS shortcuts that may hide or minimize the browser. Your browser may also keep Cmd+N, Cmd+T and Cmd+W.
Can I change the keyboard shortcuts?
Yes. Open Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts… (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K) to give a command a different key or remove one. Your changes are saved in your browser, so they're still there next time you open the editor on the same computer and browser. Clearing the site's data in your browser resets them to the default Photoshop shortcuts.
What is the shortcut for Free Transform?
It's Ctrl+T, or Cmd+T on a Mac, as in Photoshop; if your browser takes that key, choose Edit > Free Transform. A box with eight handles appears around the layer. Drag a corner to scale it in proportion, drag just outside a corner to rotate it, or type exact position, size, angle and skew values in the options bar. Press Enter to apply or Esc to cancel.
How do I find a command if I don't know its shortcut?
Press Ctrl+F, or choose Edit > Search…, and type what you want, such as "curves" or "gaussian blur". The list shows matching commands, tools and panels, and Enter runs the first result. Check that the top result is the one you want before you press Enter, because sometimes a tool comes first.
